The battlelines have been drawn...

This farce has gone long enough. Finally, the politicians have chosen their sides and all that is left is to have one massive confrontation to settle everything. But will they have the guts to do it? And who will blink first? (Bigyan na lang kaya natin sila ng tigi-tigisang kutsilyo, ano?)

However, no matter what happens, it's us, the poor people of this once great nation, who will have to bear all of the burden - before, during and after this thing is settled...

gloria's daring everyone to bring their complaints to congress and let the impeachment trial grind on. she knows she has the majority of congressmen under her skirt. such gall!

but then again, given our situation, maybe that's the best solution....so far. she won't resign anyway, so we might as well impeach her.

the only problem is the successor.

Ah yes, the problem of the "successor". Dapat gawing philosophical problem yan e, para mabigyan ng solusyon. Kaya lang given the nature of philosophical discussion, baka abutin ng siyam-siyam yan. What is needed is a REAL solution, or in this case, a real successor.

The opposition must agree to a successor soon, otherwise, mawawala lang ang lahat ng pinaghirapan nila. So who among the opposition can they rely upon to unify them and choose from among them a successor? Well, that's for them to decide and they must decide soon. Magusap-usap na sila. Or they can appeal to Susan Roces for help, agreeing they would support whomever she chooses... That will surely bring about another problem, but let's just take it one step at a time...

i don't think there's anyone in the opposition who is less evil or less tainted than gloria. i will not trust any of them to become president. the problem with this country is that credibility is in such short supply. you will not find it in the president and certainly not within the ranks of the opposition.

which brings us to a dilemma. everyone wants her out of the palace but no one can provide a better successor.
